Let’s Rethink
The brief
Working with The GOOD Agency, I provided PR support for the launch of the new Let’s Rethink campaign, which aims to encourage more people to rethink their preconceptions and stigma towards people severely affected by mental illness.
To launch the campaign I used the findings of a YouGov poll to draft a press release which highlighted the need a change in attitudes - nearly a third of all UK adults (30%) would not be comfortable sharing a diagnosis of severe mental illness with a friend. To help amplify this, I also placed a case study of someone with a severe mental illness in a national magazine and worked with BBC Garden Rescue Presenters Chris Hull, to secure additional interviews sharing his own experience.

71 pieces of online and broadcast coverage including an interview with Chris all on Morning Live and in the Daily Telegraph and a case study feature in Chat magazine.
